February 16, 2012 – According to reports a school bus crash injured six students in Fullerton. According to the California Highway Patrol the school bus crash occurred at approximately 2:10 p.m. on North State College Boulevard and Dorothy Lane. The California Highway Patrol said the students on the bus suffered minor injuries in a collision between the bus and a pickup truck. The students were from La Vista and La Sierra High School.
According to Fullerton Fire Department fire marshal Julie Kunze, the students on the bus involved in the crash were between ages 16 and 21. The six students that were injured were transported to the hospital with minor injuries and are students with special needs. The California Highway Patrol officials closed the southbound lanes of State College Boulevard, while the car crash was investigated.
